Tymoshenko will compel to change bulbs

Today the Cabinet has adopted the target scientific-technical program of the development and introduction of the light-emitting diode sources of light.

PM Yulia Tymoshenko said that today at the briefing in the Cabinet, the IMC's correspondent informs.

According to her, in Ukraine incandescent lamps are used in houses which consume energy by 30% more than light-emitting diode lamps.

Tymoshenko noted that despite such lamps cost more, they serve more.

"If we substitute our bulbs for light-emitting diode lamps, we will pay for electricity by 30% less," she said.
